You’ve guys heard of Craig Ballantyne  right? It’s for personal trainers. Craig Ballantyne has some of the most intense workouts you can do at home.

He has a lot of great bodyweight workouts to choose from as well. The following are just two of the effecitve bodyweight movements he uses in his workouts.

Downward Dog Pushup

  • Place your hands on the ground in front of you and feet on the floor. Make your body in an upside down “V” position.
  • From this position, bring your shoulder blades together as you drop your hips down.
  • Transition into the pushup position. Return to starting position and repeat.

Lying Hip Extension

  • Lay down on the floor with your feet flat on the floor and your hands besides you. From this position, raise your hips up off the floor as high as possible.
  • Contract your abs and glutes as you bridge your hips up. Hold this position, slowly return to starting position, and repeat.
